Dining At

Dan’s story began in the late 1980s when he helped open and worked at Mark Pi’s China Gate here in Mansfield. He later purchased the restaurant and re-branded it as China Club in 2003. He channeled his budding culinary talents into creating modern adaptations of Mark Pi’s food and his family’s traditional Korean dishes. He never set out to build a global brand but rather be mindful of simple yet innovative and purposeful recipes that he wanted to share with the masses.

Today, Dan Lew Exchange/DLX is a culmination of the ventures, travels and cultures that he has experienced throughout his  career, focusing on the fusion culinary brand to honor and celebrate wok cooking as the center of the guest experience. Today’s menu spans across all of Asia, honoring cultures and recipes from Japan, Korea, Thailand, and beyond. Each menu item offers a unique exploration of flavor, whether it’s a handcrafted cocktail, wok-fired traditions, sushi rolls, prime steaks and seafood, or celebratory specials.

Come and experience Downtown Mansfield On The Square at Dan Lew Exchange/DLX for a memorable evening of dining in the historic Reed’s building dining room, The Kobacker Banquet Room or the patio with it’s charming view of the square.
